In 2000, J.Jayaseelan started a Pharmaceutical Marketing Company and in 2009, he started his first Manufacturing Company for the US market namely Edict Pharmaceuticals. Edict cleared USFDA in the Year 2011 with 6 ANDA’s. In February 2012, Par Pharma, USA acquired Edict Pharmaceuticals for $40 Million USD. After the sale, J.Jayaseelan honored the 3 year Non-Compete Agreement with Par Pharma and has since ventured into API manufacturing for US Market.
In 2015, he cleared the USFDA audit for his API facility and Par Pharma USA, acquired this facility (Nuray) for $20 million USD. J.Jayaseelan also ventured a CRO organization and got USFDA approval in the Year 2015 and the Unit has been sold to Par Pharmaceutical USA for $20billion. He has always believed in the idea of the “Scalable Start Up” strategy and applied it to the healthcare sector.Currently J.Jayaseelan has started his next venture in pharmaceuticals, called Hibrow Healthcare. Hibrow has a state of art R&D facility and a new manufacturing facility for manufacturing Steroid Formulations (Oral). Hibrow has the capacity for developing and filing 10 ANDA’s per year. J.Jayaseelan’s experience as a pharmacist, researcher and developing networks of chemists has gained the knowledge and experience in USFDA regulations over the past 10 years.
